Long before MTV,  satellite radio and internet streaming, there was AM radio. You were either in your car or in your bedroom listening to the scratchy sounds coming through the radio. For me, hearing the songs now takes me back to a simpler time, happy memories. We all know these songs and even 40 years later, can sing them word for word. We may not have heard them for over 30 years, but somehow they are stuck in the recesses of our minds.

I want to look back at some of the artists that sang those songs. Maybe they were one hit wonders and achieved moderate success, or went on to great things, but have made a lasting impression on what I will call the soundtrack to our lives.

I hope you will indulge me in one of my secret guilty pleasures (70’s music). I hope you enjoy this little journey we will take and feel free to leave comments, thoughts, memories as you do.
